A Bear Update

December 19, 2025

Hello Bear Families and Community Members,

As we continue developing North Royalton City Schools’ new Mission, Vision, and Beliefs—along with our Portrait of a Graduate—it remains important that this work reflects the voice of our entire community. These guiding principles will help shape the experiences of our students and ensure we are preparing them for success both today and in the future.

I invite all North Royalton City Schools residents to join us for a community input session, which will focus on developing the competencies of our Portrait of a Graduate. The session will take place on Tuesday, February 3, at 6:30 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. Your feedback and perspective are essential to shaping the direction of our schools, and we hope many of you will take part in this important conversation.

As we begin winter break, I would also like to extend my sincere gratitude to our students, families, staff, and community members for your continued support and partnership. Your dedication to our schools makes North Royalton a special place to learn and grow.

On behalf of North Royalton City Schools, I wish you and your loved ones a joyful holiday season and a happy, healthy New Year. We look forward to continuing this important work together in the months ahead.

With Bear Pride,

Mike Laub
