NRHS Senior Giving Back to the Community
North Royalton High School senior Andy Hudak is hosting a back-to-school book drive to support The Cleveland Kids Book Bank from August 15 to September 12. Please consider donating your used books to the Cleveland Kids Book Bank. The Cleveland Kids Book Bank is trying to foster literacy and a love of reading by distributing free books to children throughout the Greater Cleveland area. This cause is seeking gently used or like-new children’s books for ages 0-18. If you have any to donate, they can be dropped off at the collection bins at North Royalton Elementary, Middle, and High School. Thanks for supporting the Cleveland Kids Book Bank! NEWS TO KNOW
First Day of School
Wednesday, August 20, 2025, is the first day of school for students. We are excited to welcome all the students to NRHS! First period begins at 7:20 am. Please give yourself ample time to arrive to be on time for your first class.
Update Student Registration and Enrollment Information
It is time for parents to update Back-to-School student registration and enrollment information. ALL current and new students must complete these forms. Please click here for information and directions on how to make sure your child's records are up-to-date. Access to student parking permits, field trips, transportation, band, choir, athletics, and activities all rely on this information being updated. Please take action now.
Multiple Bell Schedules
North Royalton has a number of different bell schedules that we will run throughout the year based on our in-school activities/assemblies. Please click here for the dates we will run a different schedule. Students with Open Campus, please make special note of when the schedule will be different to ensure you are in school at the appropriate times.
SAVE Students Act
We wanted to take this opportunity to inform you about the requirements of the Safety and Violence Education Students (SAVE Students) Act, or Ohio House Bill 123, which mandates that students in grades 6-12 receive one class period of instruction annually for each of the following topics: social inclusion, violence prevention, and suicide prevention. The purpose of this instruction is to educate our students on these critical topics and empower them to recognize and respond appropriately to such situations. Click here for more information.
CVCC Buses
We will provide shuttle buses to and from CVCC for students needing transportation. Students riding the buses from the high school to CVCC will be picked up in the staff parking lot behind the high school and the buses will depart at 7:10 am each morning. The shuttle will run from CVCC to NRHS mid-day to bring the AM students back and take the PM students to CVCC. The shuttle will run at the end of the day to bring the PM students back to NRHS.
Please be advised that on the following days (when NRHS is not in session), the CVCC shuttle buses WILL transport students. However, students are responsible for their own transportation to and from the high school.

Announcing a meal price decrease for the 25-26 school year
We are also pleased to announce that we have an abundance in program funds and want to share this with our patrons. For the 25-26 school year, we are reducing our School meal prices district-wide. The cost of breakfast will be $2.00 and lunch will be $3.00. The price for free and reduced status students remains completely free of charge to students. We are very excited to be able to share this news with our community and very grateful for your continued support.
