HIGH SCHOOL HIGHLIGHTS

Congratulations to our Entrepreneurship Students
Mrs. Smith’s Entrepreneurship students were very successful in the pitches that they created for the Mott’s Million Pitch Competition.  Click here to see the students’ ideas.  There were two additional winners: Lucas Stringer won the $250 People's Choice Award for Liquid Calus - a protective finger coating for guitar players.  Ethan Gubacz applied for and received a $1,500.00 micro-grant from the Center for Entrepreneurs, funded by the Burton D. Morgan Foundation Startup Grants program.  His business is Crowned With Purpose - a Christian clothing line.

Congratulations, Band & Show Choir
NRHS Band and Show Choir programs all received superior ratings at states!  Congratulations to all of our musicians, directors, and parents!

Alumni Spotlight: Dylan Dapsis
North Royalton proudly celebrates Dylan Dapsis, Class of 2012, a true voice of our community! From his high school days announcing games to becoming the official voice you hear at varsity football, soccer, and basketball, Dylan has been a constant presence bringing energy and excitement to NR athletics for years.  His impact goes far beyond North Royalton.  Dylan began working with the Cleveland Cavaliers while still in high school—and now travels with the team for away games. Catch a Cavs home game, and you might even see him on TV.  He’s also taken the mic for the Cleveland Charge (G-League).  Most recently, he’s stepped onto an even bigger stage—announcing the Cleveland Guardians home series, with his next opportunity coming May 11–13!  From the halls of NRHS to the biggest stages in Cleveland sports, Dylan continues to represent NoRo Nation with passion, professionalism, and pride.  We are incredibly proud of you, Dylan! Keep shining and making your voice heard!

Spring Athletics
Although Mother Nature has been all over the place this spring, our athletes continue to work hard and have fun competing.  Thank you to our athletes, coaches, and families for being flexible with the ever-changing schedules.  Keep those winter coats, hats, gloves, rain gear, as well as the sunscreen, available.

2026–2027 Course Registration Review
At this time, we ask all families to log into PowerSchool and carefully review your student’s Course Registration selections one final time to ensure accuracy.  Please note that the courses listed reflect your child’s requested selections and will be used to build their 2026–2027 schedule. This is not your child’s finalized schedule for the upcoming school year.  We ask that you carefully review your child’s alternate elective selections. If a first-choice elective cannot be accommodated due to scheduling conflicts or course availability, your child may be placed in one of their selected alternate electives.  Click here for the full document of information.

Parking Lot Reminders for Students and Visitors
All of the parking lots at NRHS are completely sold out.  Students must have a valid parking permit and display it properly to park on school grounds.  All visitors to NRHS during school hours must park in a visitor’s parking spot.  If all visitor’s spots are occupied, visitors may park in a NON-PAINTED available spot.  We appreciate your cooperation.

Dress Code Reminder
As we move into the warmer spring weather, this is a reminder to all students to continue following our school dress code expectations.  Hats, hoods, and sunglasses are not permitted during the school day and must be removed upon entering the building. Additionally, all shorts should be an appropriate length, and clothing that exposes excessive skin is not permitted.  Staff members will address dress code violations and may send students to the office until the issue is corrected. Please be aware that repeated violations will result in progressive disciplinary consequences.  We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to a great end of the school year!
