NHS Induction Ceremony
The National Honor Society induction ceremony was held on Thursday, October 9, 2025. The chapter President, Emily Kuntz, set the tone for a wonderful student-led evening. Thank you to the guest speaker, retired NRHS teacher, Mrs. Angel Scott. Thank you to our new NHS advisor, Mrs. Tonia Gregoire, for leading an amazing group of students. Congratulations to the existing and new members of the National Honor Society.
Good Luck to the Marching Band at States!
NRHS Marching Band will be competing at States on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Hilliard Bradley High School. Best of luck to our musicians, color guard, and directors!

PSAT/NMSQT October 15, 2025
The high school will be on a testing schedule on October 15, 2025, due to the PSAT/NMSQT tests in the morning.
Senior Panoramic Photo
Our senior panoramic photo will be on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 10:30 am SHARP in Gym 1. Please plan to arrive early and be in the gym by 10:30 am.
Photo Retake Day
School photo retakes will be on Friday, October 17, 2025. Online ordering for retakes is available at cavanaughphoto.com/order. If you placed an order before the first picture day and didn’t realize your child would be absent, it will be honored. For retakes, your student MUST bring back the original picture packet that was ordered. If you only ordered a hi-res digital file, please send a note with your student stating that a hi-res digital file was purchased. If the packet or note is not returned, a new package will not be printed until the original is turned in. #AspireHigher Career, College and Military Exploration Day
On October 23rd, we will host our annual #NRAspireHigher - Career, College and Military Exploration Day. This day will include an opportunity for all students in grades 9 through 12 to explore career interests in various careers, including medicine, technology, business, and several trades, as well as to learn about military and college options. This event attracts 50-plus colleges and career-enhancing organizations each year.
While students will have an opportunity to attend the fair, this day will run as a regular school day for students in all grades.
CVCC students in grades 11 & 12 still report to CVCC at their scheduled times. All transportation remains on schedule. CVCC transport buses will run their normal routes to and from CVCC.
October 24, 2025, No School for Students
The first quarter will end on October 23, 2025, and students will not have school on Friday, October 24, 2025, due to a staff in-service day to close out the quarter. This would be a great opportunity for a college visit.
Parent-Teacher Conferences
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be on Thursday, October 30th. This semester, we will once again be utilizing a scheduled approach through PTC Fast. Parents will receive an email on Friday, October 17th, when the scheduler opens. The scheduler will remain open through October 28th for parents to schedule 8-minute conferences with the high school teachers.

Taste of North Royalton, November 6, 2025
The Taste of North Royalton is a lively community event celebrating local cuisine. Enjoy a variety of dishes from local restaurants, bakeries, and food vendors, along with raffles and prizes all benefiting the North Royalton Educational Foundation and the North Royalton Stadium Foundation. It’s a fun, flavorful experience that showcases the best of North Royalton’s culinary scene while supporting our students, staff, and community!

Tutoring Available at NRHS
NHS students will be available for tutoring during the school day for students who need help. Please click here to sign up for tutoring.
Multiple Bell Schedules
North Royalton has a number of different bell schedules that we will run throughout the year based on our in-school activities/assemblies. Please click here for the dates we will run a different schedule. Students with Open Campus, please make special note of when the schedule will be different to ensure you are in school at the appropriate times.
CVCC Buses
We will provide shuttle buses to and from CVCC for students needing transportation. Students riding the buses from the high school to CVCC will be picked up in the staff parking lot behind the high school and the buses will depart at 7:10 am each morning. The shuttle will run from CVCC to NRHS mid-day to bring the AM students back and take the PM students to CVCC. The shuttle will run at the end of the day to bring the PM students back to NRHS.
Please be advised that on the following days (when NRHS is not in session), the CVCC shuttle buses WILL transport students. However, students are responsible for their own transportation to and from the high school.

Parking Permits
The Gold and Purple lots are SOLD OUT. Juniors and Seniors in the Silver Lot have been added to the waitlist for the Purple Lot if spots become available. There is still availability in the Silver lot. Parking permit applications will be accepted throughout the school year until they are sold out. Students with a valid driver’s license for the 2025-2026 school year can log in to their Class of 2026, Class of 2027, and Class of 2028 Google Classrooms to access the application. This was posted starting on May 20, 2025.
Proof of a valid driver’s license and auto insurance can be uploaded on the application, shown in person, or copies sent to the NRHS main office.
Student Registration MUST be completed/updated in PowerSchool for the 2025-2026 school year and all fees, as of the end of the 2024-2025 school year, must be paid for students to pick up their parking permits.
Course & Activity Fees
Fees have been posted in each student’s PowerSchool account through the 2024-2025 school year. Fees for the 2025-2026 school year will be posted after the start of the year. Parents can check their PowerSchool accounts for fees and pay via credit card on https://payschoolscentral.com/ or send cash or checks (payable to NRHS) to the main office at the high school.

NRHS Adds School SAFEid to Safety Protocols
NRHS has added the School SAFEid visitor management system to our safety protocols. All parents, visitors, volunteers, vendors, and substitutes will be required to check in at one of our kiosks with a state identification card or driver's license. This will allow us to continue to reduce risks and keep our NRHS family safe.
